That time of the year

It's that time of the year when birders start getting excited about the new arrivals.
They fall over each other trying to be the first to 'have' certain species. Turtle Doves, Redstarts, Whitethroats, Wood Warblers .............. even some sea birds get in on the act, with possible sightings of all manner of birds.

I eagerly await the first Albatross from my local area.

Here's some birds that I've seen recently.

Hooded Crow

Not seen one of these for years.

Willow Warbler




Red-breasted Merganser

Enjoy, and keep looking for the White-tailed Eagle possibly over Milton Keynes stadium any day soon.
